Differences Between BetBurger and Trademate Sports

Before getting into all the factors that differentiate Trademate Sports and BetBurger it is important to note that Betburger offers both a pre-match value betting software and a live value betting software. So in this article, we will compare the differences between Trademate Sports Software and pre-match BetBurger Software.

If you are new to value betting you might be asking yourself what exactly is value betting and how does a value betting software work? Basically what a value betting software does is that it scans odds across multiple bookmakers in order to find inaccuracies in betting markets and gives you an opportunity to exploit those inaccuracies. This is a big topic that deserves its own article and you can read more about it here.

Free Trial

With the Trademate Sports Free Trial, you will get the same edges as a person who has a subscription to Trademate Sports. It basically means that you will get edges of 1%, 2%, 3%, 4%, 5%, etc and there is no delay on these edges because they pop up as soon as they are created. With the BetBurger software, you will have a 900 seconds (15 minutes) delay in comparison to a person who has a subscription to BetBurger. This is a big drawback because by the time the bet appears on your screen the edge will most likely be gone and you will not be able to take advantage of it and next to that it is only possible to get edges that are up to 2% in value.

Closing EV

Sports Betting is a great investment if you are serious about making long-term profits from it. And in order to do that, it is important to have a benchmark that you can use to assess your results and what you can expect in the long-run. In sports betting, the best benchmark to use is the closing line, because the sports betting markets are at their most efficient right before the kick-off of a match. Therefore, inside Trademate you will see that we measure both your edge when the trade is placed and the edge at closing. The most important metric to look at is the Closing EV % of each trade and your overall Closing EV on your dashboard. That way you will be able to track exactly what your expected profits should be. BetBurger does not track the closing lines of your bets which means you are 'left in the dark' in terms of what your expected profits should be and whether your bets are profitable long-term.

Closing EV is an advanced topic about which you can find out more in this article here or you can watch this video below where the Co-Founder of Trademate Sports, Jonas Gjelstad explains all about it.

Bet Tracker

One of the main things a serious and successful sports bettor must do is track the bets they are placing. With BetBurger there is no built-in Bet Tracker and that is a huge disadvantage because it takes away your possibility to make improvements on your betting strategies and to figure out which odds types or sports are damaging your end results. Inside The Trademate Sports software, there is a built-in Bet Tracker that allows you to follow the games that are in progress, shows if the closing line has been beaten or not, and the bets are automatically settled for you and saved in the My Trades section.

My Trades

Analytics

Next to the My Trades section, there is a very useful tool that you can use to analyse your own trades to see which sports, odds types, edge ranges and hours before kick off are profitable for you. For example, you can analyze your results with Soccer in combination with the 1x2 market and see whether it is profitable for you or not or you can analyse to see how you are performing on Unibet with the Asian Handicap market. There are numerous ways you can analyse and if this tool is used correctly it will help you in making your end results much, much better. We've made a video on how this tool work which you can check out here.

User Interface

betburger

This is a very huge deteriorating factor for BetBurger and simply it is very hard to navigate and get used to how their website works. With the Trademate Sports Software, it is substantially easier to navigate and understand all the features that are offered. We made a short tutorial that you can watch in order to see how the Trademate Sports Software works.

No Staking Plan

The BetBurger software has a very different strategy when it comes to staking and the biggest issue is that the staking strategy is not defined or set in regards to the edge you are getting. A user is supposed to choose how much of their bankroll they are going to place on a bet which could create potential problems like a customer deciding to place $34, which is a really odd amount to place on a bet and will most likely lead to getting your account restricted. There are ways to prolong the lives of betting accounts and you can read it in this article called “staying under the radar“.

It is a bit different from the Trademate Sports Software because it uses the Kelly Criterion in order to determine how much you should place on a bet in regards to your bankroll size. In this picture below P stands for the probability of that outcome occurring and G stands for the odds you are being given.

Kelly Criterion Formula

To find out how the Kelly Criterion works check out this video where we explain it step by step.

Customer Service

BetBurger doesn't have the best customer service because the only way you can talk to them or have something cleared up is by sending them an email and by the time they respond a lot of time will have passed. So once you get the reply a new question could emerge and it makes the whole process very tiring. With the Trademate Sports Software you have a whole team of people working each day, from Monday to Sunday, from 9:30 to 17:00 CET and if you have any questions or concerns about how the software works or what should you do they will be resolved fairly quickly.

Price

The price of a pre-match BetBurger software is €79.99 a month and if you wish to combine it with the live BetBurger software the price will be €189.98 a month. On the other hand, the price of Trademate Sports software is 120€ a month or 300€ on a quarterly basis (€100 a month).

As you can see, the Trademate Sports software is more expensive than the BetBurger pre-match software, but taking into consideration all the features that Trademate Sports provides (Bet Tracker, Analytics tool, Closing EV tracker, etc) a difference in price is more than justifiable. But at the end of the day, it is on you, the sports bettor, to determine which features are relevant to you the most.
